Blended

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore has starred in two great movies the Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates and I love those movies. And I love the chemistry between these two stars is incredible to watch because their first two movies were just the pleasure to watch. The other again with a movie called Blended.
Jim (Sandler) and Lauren (Barrymore) are hooked up to go out on their first date and the first date is at Hooters. And it turns out to be a complete disaster because Jim and Lauren call their friends to get out of this date. Once they hit home they don't want to ever go out on another date for the rest of their lives even though it was completely said in a joking matter.

Lauren is a divorce single-parent with two kids, and Jim is a man who lost his wife around five years ago and has three daughters to keep in line.

Lauren is offered a plane fly to Africa with her family for one week since her best friend (Wendi McClenon-Covey) can go because they break up with each other, but Jim also has the same idea because he works for the owner of the Dick’s Sporting-Goods and he also sells them this tickets. So all seven of them travel to Africa but they don't know that till they arrive to their arrival stop.

Jim becomes closer with Lauren two sons who attached to them completely by the end of the trip, and she is moving closer with his three girls. And that means that Jim and  Lauren are getting closer as well and that he is completely forgotten that first horrible date they just went on. Everything was going great film and they have a surprise dinner that was all planned by Jim and Lauren is so surprised by this wonderful gesture that he has provided. But when they're about to kick this Jim backs away right before it's about to be done and Lauren doesn't understand what's going on.

Once a they arrived at home their life continues but Jim decides to get dressed up and go and visit Lauren, but once he arrives her ex-husband answers the door and once that happens he doesn't even think about coming over. But he comes to Lauren son's baseball game with his daughters looks like everything is going to be perfect in their lives. And once the Lauren explains everything to Jim everything seems to be perfect in this wonderful ending story.

Sandler and Drew Barrymore are perfect in their roles together in this movie, and I hope they make more movies together and I think they probably will.  And I think this movie is as good as the first two once again I write this movie 3 1/2 out of four stars.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past

The latest X-Men feature I think the best out of all of these terrific feature films. Prof. Xavier (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) all come together once again to battle the Sentinels.

Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) and Bishop (Omar Sy) and the ability to help their team go back and forth in time. Xavier has an idea to send Wolverine back during the days when the Sentinels were created, and once he agrees being transported in time a Kitty Pryde. Wolverine has the task of going back in time to talk to both Prof. Xavier and Magneto in their younger years to see the they will all work together even after the aftermath of the last X-Man movie where they ended as enemies.

With his ability to heal quickly Wolverine is has to go back in time is has to go back in time, and destroy the Sentinels, and these lifelong enemies back together again because when they started out they were good friends.

They must all put their powers together to go after Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) please out to assassinate Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) the creator of the sentinels being the set well conquer the earth once they're unleashed. Remember in the last movie they are all good friends concluding their friendship with mystique who lived this Prof. Xavier and he was on hand to try to help her with all the energy she has built up inside her.

Bishop, Quicksilver, Blink, Sun Spot, and others all comprise the world of the X-Men. That combined with Wolverine, Mystique, and classic Prof. Xavier play brilliantly by James McElroy, as a young played by him and Michael Fassbender are all great in their challenging roles they make an exhibition come alive so brilliantly.

Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Lawrence was and replies in their roles and everything else coming back as well made this movie is spectacular treat to observe because the acting was fantastic, the direction was excellent, and action scenes was outstanding as well. All that combined together makes sense of four out of four stars movie I love it every second of this movie that's why I gave it so many stars.

This movie also comes in the 3-D format I really scenes that much difference between 3-D and regular vision. I would just go in and enjoyed this movie that has a lot to add to your viewing enjoyment.

Her

A heartbroken and writer played by Joaquin Phoenix develops a unique relationship on the computer and sees only known as Samantha brilliantly played by Scarlett Johansson.

I think this is one of the best movies of 2013 the acting is spectacular including the performances of Joaquin Phoenix , Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson who are all amazing and their parts and I would urge everyone to go out and rent this wonderful movie.

Spike Jones both wrote and directed this wonderful movie that I couldn't say enough of. Once again I urge everyone to go out and rent this movie and a party seen it watch it again is worth it.

I gave this wonderful movie four out of four stars

I, Frankenstein

Frankenstein's creature played by Aaron Eckardt gets caught in the middle of gargoyles and demons who wage war for the souls of mankind. I thought the action in this role was quite amazing and movie started out and I love it every second of it but suddenly the movie slows way down in the case also slowed way down. The movie also stars even on Yvonne Strahovski who also uses star on Chuck  series  used air on NBC. And I thought she was fantastic in a role as was Aaron Eckardt who played Frankenstein but overall I was left kind of wanting more.

Once again there are some great action scenes in this movie but none of them hold off to a really lousy written story.

I gave this story two out of four stars.

Mom's night out

Ally played by Sarah Drew who plays a mom who also works online and she wants to be heard from the public. She's married to her husband played by Sean Astin who is always on the road traveling, and she's barely taking care in of her family as well. Once again she just wants to writer, low about her real life existence and our she balances everything out.
Astin once his wife to just go out on the town with their girlfriends go out and have a great time just hanging out with friends. I agrees to take  Izzy (Logan White) and pastors wife played by Patricia Heaton all gather to go out on the town. That advances agrees to stay home and take care of the kids with his best friend who also has children.

Then everything goes off-track where the men that have lost control of their children, and the women and  lost the reservation a beautiful restaurant. And then one incident after another affected the man and the women and it turns out to be not a real funny movie. There are lots of possible highlights in this film that another really comes about and I was totally disappointed by this film.

Once again I went in to movie thing again it would be a decent thing to watch but this wasn't one of them that I gave this movie one and a half out of four stars.

I gave this movie one and a half out of four stars.

Neighbors

Seth Rogen and Zach Efron both star in a terrific movie called neighbors. The movie also stars Rose Byrne who stars as Seth Rogen's life and I thought their chemistry is actually pretty great.

Mac and Kelly (Rogen and Byrne) our new parents and they used to be huge partiers in their younger days. They live near a college campus where they all have a nice house and a great baby and then only to have some great neighbors move right next door. Suddenly a group of young men look to move in next door they sign the lease and here they come.

Teddy (Zack Efron) comes in as head of the Delta Psi Beta fraternity and they come in very pleasant and inviting. Mac and Kelly decides that there's way too much noise going on next door so they both go over to tell you to just climbed down a bit because it's just too much noise. Suddenly Teddy wasn't about to come in and have a couple of drinks and him and the group. The so they come in a have a lot of drinks and have just a good time at this great party. Suddenly the next day they think that everything is great at this group with their new neighbors so the next day they have to go next door again to tell them about the racket that is coming from their home. Suddenly Mac calls the police department and they go right next door with Teddy and ask them why they called the police, so now the war has begun.

Here comes the all-night parties, practical jokes played on the victim's, exploiting chairs, and many other things that are all done from this fraternity group. Finally Mac decides to the throwback to this fraternity group and then all the garbage begins and this makes for an outstanding movie that you just shake your brain at the door and enjoy it.

Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zach Efron along with the entire cast are excellent in their roles, and I can't say enough about their performances. Yes it's simple and straight to the point that the fact that once you go in to this film you're completely into it and yes there are some parts that are quite wrong the reason it's rated R. And I can't tell you how much I really enjoyed this movie and I and once again let's check by brain at the door I enjoyed every part of this movie.

I gave this movie three out of four stars.

Free Birds

Two turkeys played by Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson travel back in time to the year 1621 and trying to perfect all feathered friends from beginning a turkey dinner.

I completely disliked free birds I didn't find anything funny and it at all and I would highly recommend that you guys rent is whether movie than this one.

I gave this movie one out of four stars

Veronica Mars

On the scenes of her in law school graduation, Veronica Mars and turns once again turns amateur sleuth to get in to get her ex-boyfriend from going to prison.

And I thought this movie was so good in Kristen Bell does an excellent job at portraying Veronica Mars and the whole cast makes a comeback as well which means I love it every second of this wonderful movie. I gave this movie 3 1/2 out of four stars.

The Amazing Spiderman 2

Now the first series of Spiderman movies especially the first two were fantastic, now the third one wasn't so good because there were too many villains and it was a poorly written script as well. And then after a couple of years they started talking about making another Spiderman franchise, picking out with the first movie and they stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Emma and plays with all the Gwen Stacy which goes just like it does in the comic books, which they should've done and the first series of movies.

Director Mark Webb follows up what I thought was a terrific amazing Spiderman, but I think there's too many bad guys in this movie and the movie is too long.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 stars Peter Parker  (Andrew Garfield) is once again a complete and total hero daytime he puts on the Spiderman outfit. He is dating a beautiful valedictorian girlfriend Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) and they are just ready to graduate from high school. Once they graduate Parker is supposed to movie Stacy and her family to help celebrate their graduations. Parker has some desires did not attend the celebration because her father who passed away in the first movie made him promise did not include his daughter and him saying that will make her unsafe. So suddenly Parker breaks up with Stacy and they go on their separate ways.

Max (Jamie Foxx) is a techno-nerd with an ugly comb-over who suffers an accident and Oscorp the turns into Electro. The turns into a man who just wants to kill Spiderman to prove that he is the greatest villain of all time and also the that he's gone a little bit nuts as well. Spiderman and electro have a couple of awesome battles between the two of them.

Green Goblin /Harry (Dane DeHaan) is signed on board Oscorp to take over the position from his dying father. The son not only will get his father's fortune you also inherit our horrible disease the world eventually kill him. But once he gets the blood of Spiderman and everything will so then agreeing to learn is after Spiderman as well.

And then the third part of the story comes from Paul Giamatti who plays Rhino , because a lot of grunting and wailing and it's about all that he does. And once again Paul came only is one of the great actors working in today's films and he is completely wasted in this role.

Also Spiderman is still in love with Gwen Stacy and she is still in love with him, and they do get back together. So Spiderman is battling Electro, green goblin, and rhino plus the he's also trying to Gwen Stacy safe and unharmed. I saw everything is coming together in one painful drop were Spiderman is battling through the villains and particularly his girlfriend as well and the rest of the population.

And I thought this movie was half pleasurable because I thought the romance between Spiderman and Gwen Stacy is a beautiful thing to watch, also the action scenes are spectacular to view as well. Now the other side of the story is the fact that this movie is to long and the fact that Foxx has very little to say and he is one of the best costumes that I've ever seen but he has nothing to say and is completely under written role. Next up the role of rhino and green goblin whets our to the roles they shouldn't have been included over crowded film.

I gave this movie 2 1/2 out of four stars I like a lot of this movie but there's a lot of parts of it I dislike it is well.

Also I would recommend you give this in the 3-D format because watching Spiderman flying around the skyscrapers of New York City was outstanding.

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones

Friends and family try to save a teenager who is frightened by supernatural forces. You know I really loved the first three paranormal activity films but now it's just the same stuff over and over again. It’s really sad. I didn't want them to make another movie but you know I'm a film critic, and this isn't the worst movie I've seen, but it's not too far away. This movie made a lot of money the first weekend and just like most horror films the second week was pivotal.  This movie isn’t going to make any money.

I give this movie one and a half out of four stars

Jackass presents: Bad Grandpa

Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) takes he's young and impressionable grandson and goes all over the country, where they pull tricks on people who don't even know they're playing a joke on them.

Now the makeup in Bad Grandpa is terrific. There are a few funny lines in this movie but not enough to fill almost an hour and 40 min, because after a while it just turns in to another show just like Jackass. I loved the first movie.

I can only give this movie one and a half out of four stars

Noah

Noah ( Russell Crowe ) gets word from God that at tidal wave is on its way. He has to gather to animals of all species, and starts constructing a vessle that will hold all of these unique creatures. A battle takes place and an arc is built, they load all the animals and themselves and go on this journey.

Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins and of course Russell Crowe all star in the movie. As far as this movie, it is one of the worst films that I've seen in the last 10 years.

I can't even tell you how bad Noah is. It was horribly directed and I wanted much more than I got. The only reason I'm giving this one star is because of the Arc. I give this horrible movie one out of four stars.

Bears

Disney has made great movies about the earth, gorilla, chimpanzees, and lions. I think that these are important subjects. Now comes Bears and I think this one's the best one I've seen so far. Yes I have to admit, I love bears, I love the fact that they can kill you in instant, they're so cute and it looks like you could just play with them forever.

The movie stars a single Bear mom named Sky. She is in hibernation with her two baby cubs named Scout and Amber.  They go on a journey to find food and safety because remember she is a single mother and she has to protect these two young cups. There are a lot of battles with predators and fun things between Sky and her cubs.

I thought Bears was one of the most enjoyable films that I've seen all year. These are very lovable creatures. They filmed everything with two cameras and risked danger because humans are viewed by creatures as enemies.
I hope people will go see this movie because it’s highly educational and a lot of fun to watch. And I think Disney does an amazing job showing the good things about animals in the world.

I give this movie 3 1/2 out of four stars.

Transcendence

Johnny Depp is one of the best actors working today. No matter if he's playing a pirate, a scientist or just walking on the street, he always turns in the top notch performance. Depp plays a brainy individual and once again I love him in this part.

Depp plays Dr. Will Carter, a renowned scientist, who’s married to Evelyn (Rebecca Hall) another scientist. Their dream is to build a special independent network that transcends of all the problems in the physical world. At the encouragement of his wife Evelyn, Carter makes a speech to the public about all of their findings and to encourage people to agree on what the future holds. Dr. Carter gets done with this speech and is signing autograph, when he is shot by an assassin. He iss rushed to the hospital and it turns out there was no physical damages.

Dr. Carter returns home from the hospital the just goes straight to bed. But he wakes up he ends up in the bathroom with something wrong.  Evelyn decides to take him to the hospital because something is not right and they discover that yes they did remove the bullet, but  poison has run all through his body. They tell him he only has one month to live. Carter then just wants to get out of the hospital.

In a month Dr.Carter passes away, but he has all of his scientific work stored in a computer, where he feels he can return to life through the technology phase.
Kate Mara whose character runs the RIFT organization is wonderful in her role, I like the fact that somehow she makes sense but  she's out of control. They are being chased by Morgan Freeman another pioneer researcher and an FBI agent played by Cillian Murphy who starred as Scarecrow in the latest Batman series.

I thought that Trancendence was not  well directed. Wally Pfister will probably direct better movies but you never know. I thought that Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Kate Mira, Rebecca Hall and Cillian Murphy are all okay but this is a terribly written script.

I give this movie two out of four stars

Ride Along

Ice cube stars as a police officer. His sister is dating a security guard played by Kevin Hart. Ice cube decides to ask Kevin Hart to ride along with him. Ice cube has a plan, because he brings Kevin Hart along to arrest some really hard core criminals.

I really enjoyed this film.  Sure it's a check your brain at the door movie but I enjoyed it anyway. Ice Cube and Kevin Hart are terrific in this film and just make a great team on screen.

I gave this movie three out of four stars. Once again just go in this film check your mind at the door and enjoy it.

Gravity

Sandra Bullock and George Clooney star in this movie about two astronauts stranded with nowhere to go. Of course George Clooney is confident in Sandra Bullock is really freaked out because she is stranded in Outer space. Bullock finds herself alone in the end and she has to find a way back to earth.

I voted for Sandra Bullock as best actress because she is so great in this film. Alfonso Cuaron also did a fine job at directing these characters.  There are some awesome special effects in it is well. This is a terrific film and I gave this four out of four stars.

Oculus

Oculus is a story about an antique mirror that causes the people who own it to suddenly pass on. The parents in this thriller,  played by Rory Coltrane and Katee Sackhoff start acting very strangely, first it's the father and then it's the mother who are on hand to pass the evil. Their kids are being terrorized and they don't know why, but it becomes a struggle to survive while they are still young. Once they escape the evil, it takes years to recover because the boy comes forth and admits that he committed murder.

Later on the girl, Kaylie played brilliantly by Karen  Gillan sees her brother Tim, who has been in a mental hospital for most of his life.  He is released and teams up with his sister to find out what is going on with their family. It all surrounds the mysterious mirror that was brought into their home so many years ago.

Oculus is a terrific movie that never slows down and I like it that way. The acting in this movie was superb especially from Karen Gillan who stars on Dr. Who. I thought her performance was so tremendous and I look forward to seeing her in future roles.

I loved every second of this film and I think you will as well.  The direction and everything associated with this film is amazing. This film was produced by W and WE Studios. It’s another big thing I’ve noticed because I think their projects are getting better and better.

I gave Oculus 3 1/2 out of four stars

Draft Day

Kevin Costner has starred in some of the greatest movies about sports. He made movies like Bull Durham, Field of  Dreams, Tin Cup, For the Love of the Game, and this current film called Draft Day.  These films have made Kevin Costner is a huge star and the proof is in the pudding.
Now, I'm not  fond of all of Costner’s films because I really dislike him in dramatic roles.  Movies like the Untouchables, Waterworld, and No Way Out are all movies that I remember Costner starring in with some great costars.  He is a decent actor overall, but there's only a few films that I really like.

In Draft Day, Costner stars as general manager named Sonny Weaver Jr., who’s in charge of restructuring a struggling football team. He is also dating the financial manager, played by Jennifer Garner. She has just informed him that they're going to have a child together. This just further complicates his life because he is going to have a child and has one of the first picks in the upcoming draft.

The film starts with Weaver listening to offers for a first round pick, because he doesn't have the top choice in the first round. He agrees to trade with Seattle to get the number one pick in the draft.  But to get it he also has to mortgage a bunch of future number one choices as well.
So here is Weaver with his a choice to make in the draft. He can choose a wide receiver from Wisconsin who looks like he's the sure thing or he can try to make a deal with some other team.
Weaver also has to face the fact, that he is going to be a first-time father.  He doesn't know what to think about that either.
The cast is quite solid, not only Kevin Costner, but Jennifer Garner, Dennis Leary, Frank Langella and Ellen Burstyn are all outstanding in this movie.  The film is directed by Ivan Reitman who also directed Ghostbusters. I think he does a great job of setting the mood for this wonderful film.

I really enjoyed this because not only is it about the coming NFL draft but I like the story in general. I gave this movie three out of four stars.
